Robert M. Yamauchi is a partner of MacDonald Rudy O’Neill & Yamauchi, a Limited Liability Law Partnership, LLP.

Mr. Yamauchi received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Hawaii College of Business Administration and he was admitted as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Fraternity. He then became a Certified Public Accountant and practiced with the Big Eight accounting firm, Peat Marwick Mitchell &: Co., in its audit department, from 1979 to 1981, auditing publically traded companies.

Mr. Yamauchi received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1984. He was admitted as a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and also received the American Jurisprudence Award in Estate Planning.

Mr. Yamauchi practiced law with the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney of the City and County of Honolulu. He entered private practice with the law firm of Ezra, O’Connor, Moon &: Tam and established the firm’s tax and estate planning department. After 14 years of practice with the firm, 11 years as a Director, Mr. Yamauchi joined the law firm, Pitluck Kido Sato Stone &: Yamauchi, for a year before joining MacDonald Rudy O’Neill &: Yamauchi as a partner in 2001.

Mr. Yamauchi has concentrated his practice in the areas of real estate law, business law, construction law, taxation, trusts and estates, and estate planning.

Mr. Yamauchi is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
